Boundaries belong in the buying guide
A useful purchase decision respects limits for use, privacy, spending and shared activity. Those limits are requirements, not obstacles to overcome.
Name the limit before browsing
Write down what is unwanted or impractical, such as an app account, difficult controls or a care routine you cannot follow. Keep these separate from preferences such as colour. A promotion should not quietly change a non-negotiable requirement.
Do not purchase agreement
Discuss whether a category is welcome before buying for another person. A gift, shared expense or relationship does not establish consent. Avoid a surprise that makes a refusal feel expensive or unkind. The recipient can decline without offering an alternative.
Check the object and transaction
Read intended use, material, dimensions, care and seller terms. If the product does not fit the brief, do not choose it to finish the shopping task. A health symptom or fear of declining needs appropriate support beyond a buying checklist.

Before you decide
Have I treated each boundary as a real requirement rather than a negotiable inconvenience?
